London’s latest shopping, restaurant and leisure district, Borough Yards, is celebrating a string of openings with a summer party full of fun, food and festivities between 12-7pm on 22 June.
New and existing tenants at Borough Yards, next door to the iconic Borough Market, will come together to host pop-up food stalls, bars, giveaways and in-store offers, with live music throughout the day from DJs Josh Parkinson and Siggy Smalls. Stores taking part in the day’s festivities include Paul Smith, MALIN+GOETZ, Le Chocolat Alain Ducasse, Vinoteca, Longboys and Lids.
The summer party coincides with the opening of Borough Yards’ new store openings, with leading beauty, food, fashion and homeware operators opening their doors, alongside a new pedestrian zone behind Borough Market connecting the revived Victorian streets of Stoney Street, Clink Street and Bank End that will allow visitors to pass through the entire site for the first time.
Activities hosted by Borough Yards’ retailers will include:
- An ice cream-inspired truck serving deluxe-sized samples from skincare brand MALIN+GOETZ outside the store;
- Bespoke Manzanilla & Rhubarb spritz from Parillan and Asia Paloma cocktails from Brother Marcus crafted exclusively for the event;
- Bespoke refreshments and live music from Paul Smith;
- In-store offers from the likes of Lids and After School Cookie Club;
- Pop-up stalls and trucks from Le Chocolat Alain Ducasse and Long Boys, to name a few.
Borough Yards is a 140,000 sq ft regeneration project providing shops, restaurants, a cinema, co-working spaces and other creative spaces, delivered by pan-European investment manager MARK. Derelict streets and warehouses from the Victorian era have been restored into an array of beautiful buildings and open spaces for the public to shop, eat and relax.
Later this summer, Borough Yards will host a live Wimbledon screening throughout the tournament’s duration in July, accompanied by food and drink stands.
The new tenant openings include:
- Ace & Tate
- Amorino
- atis
- Bancone
- Hagen
- Kitchen Provisions
- Longboys
- Lids
- MALIN+GOETZ
